The Whatever’s Clean Summer Wardrobe – 6 variations

Pretty much 45 seconds after I posted the 13 = 81 summer wardrobe, in which you can literally wear whatever's clean, and it will still go together, I got suggestions.  Dozens of suggestions..."This is wonderful, but I can't ever let me knees be seen in public!!!"

Spring 2013 Accent: “Tender Shoots” in the office

February 21, 2013   Some of these garments just hint at the presence of "tender shoots"...  

 

 

   With that, I have exhausted both my ability to work with neon green, and the Pantone Spring 2013 colors.  And since one of my WONDERFUL readers found the link for the Fall 2013 colors, it begs a question - when should I start looking at the Fall/Winter colors?  As soon as the fall clothes are in the stores, in July?  Chime in with a suggestion!

I get LOTS of questions about what to wear with scarves - many people seem to feel that they're not wearing their scarves as often as they should.  So I'm going to walk you through what I think of, when I see a scarf for which someone wants suggestions.First, the obvious way to wear a scarf - match the colors!  Wearing a scarf with two differently colored garments can make it clear that this ensemble wasn't an accident.

Emerald and A Common Office Wardrobe

One thing we know for a fact: there will NOT be fashion police, running around the world with Pantone swatches, enforcing the "fidelity" of every green item that's manufactured during 2013. And for us, that's good news, because this means that there will be a variety of... interpretations... of "emerald" available to purchase. If the authentic emerald isn't your best green, you will still have lots of options available, if you choose to explore the possibilities of green in your wardrobe.
