Yes, definitely violet this time. :) I love the way, Janice, that gorgeous Hermes scarf ties everything together, indeed is at the very center of this wardrobe.
I love this color combination – unfortunately it does not "love" me – in fact, the majority of the colors for 2013 don't suit me – perhaps this is just the impetus I need for that shopping "fast"!!!
Nice outfits but these cool pastels are not for me. I'm having a difficult time imagining who they look good on. Help me out here fellow readers. Describe (hair color, skin tone, etc.) someone who looks really good in these pastel tone. Help me expand my way of thinking. Thanks!
Ooh, I work in an office with four blue-eyed blondes who could rock this color. Fair skinned, rosy cheeked, lightly tanned in the summer – it's an embarrassment of prettiness where I work!
Thanks for the input. Living amongst the many darker toned beauties in my part of California has limited my imagination.

Winter types do well in pastels, too…
That would be dark/black-haired with pale skin and blue, green or very dark eyes, a Celtic type.

I just discovered this blog and I am really impressed. Definitely the best styling I have seen lately! My respect to Janice!
Regarding the cool pastels in the combination, these are “my” colors, they suit me perfectly. And to answer Thea – I am with fair skin, brown hair and depending on the dress I am wearing, the color of my eyes varies in blue/gray/green spectrum.
Very lovely for Summer colourings.
