Capsule Wardrobe 2013 Accent: African violet, casual
I love this shade. Your choices seem to me to be a bit more "greyed" than the Pantone sample. This twilight between lavender and mauve goes with just about any neutral I can think of.
I agree that your choices look more taupe than Pantone "African Violet," but I love the versatility and sophistication of the shade.
I have a few casual pieces in this color. I always enjoy wearing them. It would make a great signature color for spring!

This color makes me swoon. I've been looking for a fine gauge pull over sweater in this color…in a cotton blend; its been elusive so far!
I love all these pieces!
I did not used to wear this light violet shade and now I love it as a contrast with dark or white jeans!

Thanks for bringing this colour to my attention. I love (and suit) many shades of the purple family, but this one is new to me, and I LOVE it!!
