Build a Capsule Wardrobe by Starting with a necklace: dragon pearls

What a great necklace!  It made me think of softness, iridescence, and creating a background that wouldn’t detract from the details of the clasp, and the textures of the pearls.

Oh I'd love the last outfit at the bottom left…
the shape of that Cynthia Rowley dress would suit me and my pearls would have a great neckline to show off!

Ohhh rb, that is so beautiful! Depending on your colouring, I would also wear these with navy, black, chocolate, grey. (In fact that would be my first choice as I cannot wear pastels, but if you can these choices are lovely.)

Janice, I discovered your blog last night when I searched on "baltic cruise clothes" … I'm going on a 2-week cruise in N Europe in 2 months and not sure what to wear. I am terrible with clothes and never look as nice as I wish I could. Your website is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I am fascinated by everything you've shown …I spent several hours last night just looking at everything, and looking again today. I just LOVE it! I had started to buy some clothes in black because I read somewhere to take a basic black wardrobe to N Europe, although I am a Spring. I found your Baltic Cruise wardrobe (for an autumn 8/2/11) and shared it with my daughter, she said "Mom take that black stuff back and copy this!" Thank you so much! Sandy in Georgia

You constantly open my eyes! I would never have thought to pair it with most of those outfits – too fancy! – and yet I love them all. must get out my comfort zone more often! thanks.

A most unusual necklace and so beautifully styled! Love it with the camel and oatmeal, as those are one of the few soft neutrals that I can wear.
