Definitely Chic! Simple outfit yet would have taken time to match scarf, bag and down jacket. Thank you for sharing. Carol S

I can just imagine the elegant woman wearing this. Flat shoes–all business, no fuss. Perfect match of bag and jacket–attention to detail that's ingrained, not occasional.
    I love your chic sightings!

I too hope all is well with you.
What a elegant outfit, beautiful and calm! Seeing chic people always cheers me up. This outfit looks comfortable too, and easy to undress if necessary (I always consider this when I'm having a Dr's appointment).

Exactly what I would call "casual chic" – and a perfect way to dress!

When you have a defined color scheme, good quality core items and carefully selected accent pieces and accessories you have the perfect formula for chic, effortless dressing. The mathemagician behind this formula is of course Janice!

Specific Color Scheme + Quality Core Items + Carefully Selected Accent Items and Accessories = Chic Effortless Dressing

Northwestern Hospital, very near where we live in Chicago, is HUGE, and really quite full of lovely, well-dressed women. There are a lot of administrative staff there, and I saw lots of suits, beautiful dresses, and well-accessorized ensembles. It made the time go somewhat more quickly.

And yes, we're all on the mend now – thanks so much!
      hugs,
      Janice

I hope you are okay (just a routine hospital visit?). Love the outfit – even though I am not a pastel person, for some reason I find myself drawn to blush pink lately! I suppose it might have something to do with Valentine's Day fast approaching. And what a beautiful scarf, just perfect for spring. I am looking forward to the rest of your sightings!

I was visiting a friend in a hospital and I looked okay, but nowhere as chic as this. Inspiration!

This is so my friend Eleanor. I would have a million pairs of shoes. She would have one perfect pair of Ferragamo loafers and look 10 times better than me on every occasion.
