A good variety of clothes but only two pairs of shoes. Perhaps you might look at a whether we could curate a common core for footwear. How many of us have lots of shoes for ‘variety’ but reach for the same footwear every day? I’m guilty of this. The rest of my ‘collection’ rarely come out of their boxes.

Beth t – how true. I live in rainy Glasgow Scotland and have pairs and pairs of nice loafers and flats I don’t wear because it’s soooo wet with loads of puddles. I end up wearing my dog-walking shoes / boots everyday from September to May!

I find myself very limited in shoes, but mainly because I have foot issues. It’s been very challenging to find something that doesn’t have me hurting by end of day. I was also thinking that while I appreciate and like the simplicity of your wardrobe, I’m remembering back to when I lived in New Jersey and wore a preponderance of black – I got really depressed. Personally, I do much better when I can have color. So thank you for providing us with all the color wardrobes when your own preference is a more monochromatic look.

I think Janice did a footwear post a few years ago. The five pair needed or something like that. I’ll look. I put thought and effort into getting shoes I think will just be fabulous, then wear Skechers because they are comfortable, easy and I won’t ruin my good shoes. Sad but true.
