I just posted a video of me opening my new Oliver Charles sweater on Facebook!
For everybody who has ever believed that I don’t exist, and that The Vivienne Files is the product of highly sophisticated AI, we now have proof that I’m a real human!
Not a real normal human, but let’s temper our expectations, right?

Cute video! That looks like a very comfy sweater. Are you a knitter? I love the way you talked about the stitches and the lack of seaming.
Nope – haven’t learned to knit – yet! But I’ve spent enough years in retail, and living in Ireland, and working on The Vivienne Files – I’ve learned lots of garment trivia!

Oh, yay! I sent a friend request…rather bold of me, but there wasn’t just a ‘follow’ option on facebook, lol. As a misplaced midwesterner…listening to you talk was kinda like being back home for a minute, lol. The sweater is scrumptious.
That was fun! I’m looking forward to seeing posts with the sweater. How did it do in terms of shedding?
Shedded a lot the first day, which is to be expected. (1) I was wearing a cotton turtleneck under it, so lots of friction. (2) BLACK turtleneck, so every wee fiber was visible!
But this is all normal so I’m not at all worried. It felt just beautiful to wear, and I’m already ready to get dressed today. Eventually.

Wearing the sweater for seven straight days is part of the deal when you’re a “tester” for Oliver Charles. I’m going to try to wear mine longer – I might make it 30 days! I’m posting my outfits every day on Instagram…
