Wardrobe of the Week: May 21 – 27, 2023

May 28, 2023

It’s STILL not particularly warm in Chicago – it may get up into the 70s by Monday!

Thus, I am still wearing long-sleeved shirts (in linen, though!) and sweaters or sweatshirts.

Note – I bought my linen shirts from J.Jill at LEAST 10 years ago, and they’re still going strong. Linen is tough…

Happily, our apartment is like a wee greenhouse, and warms up tremendously in the morning, when the sun streams in over the lake and into our huge windows! A great view, AND heat…

love,

Janice

I bought my first pair of (almost) white pants this year and have worn them a couple of times so far. Much to my surprise, I am actually able to wear them more then once without washing. I’m thrilled as it opens up new outfits for me in the warmer weather. Thank you again for doing these Sunday posts. It really has shown me I can do with less, and I have four bags upstairs to go to goodwill to prove it!

I am getting ready to do my 100 day challenge in a marine blue maggie starting this week on June 1st! I’m pretty excited and the few days I’ve practiced with her I’ve loved wearing wool in the warmer weather. I think I will be team basic just rotating my flip flops and adding a topper if needed. Should be a relaxed summer!

Sorry but I don’t know what it is”marine blue Maggie”: maybe a simple blue marine dress like your black from the 100 days challenge?
