His name is Phil Rosenthal, and he travels, and he eats. His enthusiasm is infectious, and he goes to some amazing places…

Watch him…
love,
Janice
p.s. This is indeed L’As du Falafel, in Paris… mmm…
It's definitely not your mother's Barefoot Contessa. The LA show, especially the part on Homeboy Bakery, almost brought me (as well as Phil Rosenthal) to tears. Seek food, community, redemption and ye shall find.
That's my favorite episode so far. Phil Rosenthal is truly genuine and appealing onscreen.
Thank you, Janice, for spreading the love, too. Anyone who has not seen this program yet should DRAW.

I just saw this show for the first time last night! It was great!
I needed this! I'm flat on my back for a month with ankle surgery. Thanks!
We discovered this show a few weeks ago and love it! He's a great antidote to Anthony Bourdain, whose recent shows are becoming too self-referential and hip for my husband and me. I love Phil's genuine enthusiasm and humor!
Oh, we're hooked on this show. Love it!!!
Janice, you give The Best Gifts. I just had to pause the Paris episode halfway through because I have to get back to work. But I will be back to it quickly. I've laughed and drooled and lost myself in delight for 25 minutes.
I discovered this show a few weeks ago. It is truly one of the best shows on television. The guy is brilliant and, seemingly, genuine. What a treat with all of the other schlock out there. Thanks!
I saw a brief promo for this show – but I assumed it was just another silly food show. Now I'll have to take a second look.
Merci beaucoup! It is an amazing episode – entertaining and informative. Thank you for sharing it.
I do thank you! We started watching last night!
One of the most delightful and engaging shows EVER – we're loving it!
