What a great summer holiday wardrobe! I love those two little scarves. Thank you Janice. Elizabeth.

I know some people just don't GET the scarf thing, but the right scarf can make so much difference in an outfit. And it doesn't have to be complicated – tie it to your bag if nothing else!

I get the scarf thing in theory and I see how well it brings the outfits together. But in reality? I have a hard time picturing how to wear a scarf with a short sleeved shirt. Do you have any suggestions? (I do like tying it to your bag – I can handle that!)

I don't GET the scarf thing because scarves don't get me. I have a short plump neck and scarves just end up crawling up into my face. I don't believe looking like a cowboy bankrobber is my style. I'll just continue to admire them on others. And wear them outdoors in the winter where crawling into my face is a feature, not a bug.

You're totally right, Janice, and you find such beautiful examples, it's a real inspiration. Elizabeth.

The other day it was hot and I wore shorts….with a pretty scarf instead of a belt, and a scarf ring to hold it in place prettily. I get the scarf thing! And thanks for all your beautiful posts. So glad I found you.

I was going to ask–by way of combining this post with your earlier one on the building collapse–if LLB uses such factories. Then I thought I would save you the time! Thanks as always for featuring reasonably priced basic clothing.

This is one of those Hermes scarves that did not catch my eye at first but combined with the navy slacks and green T it instantly elevates the clothes to an outfit. And you are right about the scarf thing… I truly would look the same pretty much day in or out without them. Still thinking about the 'Paris Nights' scarf you featured months ago.

Completely my favorite thus far! And I can envision adding in some coral elements from yesterday's set…

    Beautiful work, Janice! As ever!
