Hot Pink & Orange: A Packing Capsule based on Hermes Fleuri de Provence

Yes, traveling with white pants might seem sort of nutty… But they look really great!  Just make sure they’re washable, right?  And this would certainly work well with black in the place of white.

This is a beautiful combination. I am using these colours for my European trip.

I have known women who look drop dead gorgeous in these colors, as I am sure the posters upthread do. Me, I would wear that gorgeous scarf with dark muted neutrals and be perfectly happy. That said, the dress is beautiful (paired with dark brown in my case.) :))

Gorgeous colors, gorgeous pairings! Opening a suitcase with these clothes in it would be a holiday itself, Janice.

Bright, happy, fun — everything that summer should be. Why yes, I do believe I will take these clothes on my imaginary vacation. And since it's all imaginary, the white pants stay neat and clean.

This may be my favorite capsule yet. So bright and gorgeous!!

White/ivory is my neutral, so I carry a Tide pen with me everwhere. It gets rid of many types of small stains instantly (especially food stains). And the thing about white is that unless the stain is large or dark, odds are no one is going to notice it except you.

Orange and pink belong to my favorite colors!
Thank you for posting this color combination – I should print it out and stick it in my suitcase ;-)

Hot, hot, hot! Love this, altho I have to admit that I would never wear the orange. It just washes me out. BUT, i do love white pants for the summer. They makes anyone look up-to-date, fresh and crisp. I wear them every chance I get. Great post.

I love this combination, what a joy to wear and for others to see.
I took 3 pairs of white pants on a 2 week trip to India and they stayed looking pretty good. I did wash them in my room after every 3 wears. Just don't make the mistake of putting your handbag on your lap as this seemed to be the main culprit of grubbiness!

I know this will sound weird, after following your blog for so long, but I have no idea-apart from the traditional 'around the shoulders' way- about how to wear these lovely scarves. Could you give we clueless ones some sort of idea as to what we can do with them, please?

How I wish I could wear white trousers, but I am such a dirt magnet. I can't even get in my car without becoming grubby. These outfits look so fresh.

Oh thank you ever so much! I'm going to be one happy camper as I play with these combinations. (Funny story: I told my class the story of my granddaughter's birth and how, on her special day, I ran home, threw clothes in my suitcase, and hopped a plane to Nashville. One of my 7th grade boys said "So none of your clothes matched or anything did they?" "(Ahem….) Do I look like the sort of person who would wear uncoordinated outfits?" "No, Mrs. M. you sure don't!")
