Another Common Capsule Wardrobe, with romance

Some of these accessories are the same as an earlier version of the “romance” idea, and some of them are very specifically chosen to do justice to the warmth of this wardrobe… so anybody who thinks that brown is too masculine needs to think again! OMG! I have never shopped from your blog before, but this time I think my willpower is broken. I have to have most of the accessories. They are fabulous!

Those brocade Oxfords are the real scene-stealer. I love the idea of bringing romance to sensible shoes!

You are showing me that I can do so much more with the wardrobe I have. I used to think the clothes were the point. Now I see they're a canvas. They need to be quality–silk velvet is quite a different backdrop for art than burlap. But the actual clothing pieces don't have to carry the load of looking right and looking good. I see that basic pieces can go nearly anywhere, do nearly anything. It doesn't take a lot of them.

Oh I'd love those ballet flats…
I'm off to google the company and see if they have a red pair!

I love your blog. Like the woman above, am seeing my closet and choices in a whole new way. finding the capsules within, using more of my jewelry, having more fun, and it has totally informed my shopping.
