Oh! This is absolutely beautiful! I love this new series on a column of color — ideas, too for doing the same with a skirt and tights for the fall winter! I particularly like the brown/coral combination! Susan

      Maybe a sweater/skirt/tights, or a sweater/longer skirt/ boots? I'm all over this idea!

Absolutely, Janice! Exactly what I had in mind! My mother is going to love what you did with the black today. Am e-mailing it to her now! Susan

Wouldn't the brown/green brogues be beautiful for Ireland in the fall? Going out to look for Ireland walking shoes today. Hope I can find a pair to wear with my navy/grey/yellow combo. I've been collecting things from my closet and with birthday gift certificates all summer. Inspired by your packing posts and color combinations, I look forward to putting it all together.

All of these have been great, but for whatever reason, this is my favourite. Perhaps it is because autumn is on the horizon. Thanks for these wonderful posts.

Very pretty, indeed. Never thought of pairing it with pink but it works!

I wouldn't have thought chocolate brown with kelly green, but it works, doesn't it? I do love the browns paired with the jean jacket and blazer; it looks so gentrified (is that a word?)…you know, rich people, country weekend in the fall, bed & breakfast, upstate New York/New England (like I've been there…NOT!!). Anyway, it's a casual but elegant look. I like it.

It's a good thing for my wallet that the brown/green brogues seem to be unavailable in my size – otherwise they would already be mine ;-)

Thank you for all the wonderful ideas.

Great selections. I like wearing brown but prefer a dark chocolate which is never easy to find.

Very interesting blog. Alot of blogs I see these days don't really provide anything that I'm interested in, but I'm most definately interested in this one. Just thought that I would post and let you know.
