A guest post – black and beige to Paris!

Come see me today at Tish’s, where I explore April in Paris in neutral colors with a bit of pattern and texture.  I would SO love to be sitting in a Paris cafe right now, watching it rain…

Thanks for including the Hermes scarf names in this post.

I have just bought a lovely pair of leopard loafers and was wondering what to wear them with but I feel a number of these combos would work. Thanks for you lovely work.

Love your neutrals-on-black combo over at A Femme today! Thinking those pretty sandals aren't going to get a lot of use in the freezing pouring rain, but we can dream of sunnier springs. The leopard dress is a gem – leopard without sleaze is hard to find.

Who wouldn't want to be the person who wears (and goes to Paris in!) those clothes? I love everything, but would choose sturdier walking shoes. (I wish it wasn't so difficult to find comfortable shoes that are also stylish; I love my Easy Spirit leather Abide loafers, for example, which I've stockpiled in several colors but I'm always stumped for comfortable shoes to wear with skirts and dresses–especially in the seasons in between boots and sandals. My situation is doubly difficult because I have foot problems and need to find shoes that come in wide widths. Anyone have any ideas?)

Thanks for the lovely work you do, it has inspired me to pull together four closets full of clothes, accessories and the like.

As for comfortable flats, I find my Born brand shoes the best and I have major issues with my feet after years of high heels.
