Well, I don't own any yellow, because I look like death warmed over in yellow! But it's a beautiful color on many people, especially this soft yellow, and especially in warmer weather.
    thanks for being here,
    Vivienne

Only a thought. Try Kettlewell Colours for basics.

Those Erdem pieces are divine. Paris, April: my most appreciated garment has been a cashmere cardi or t-shirt, and it would also be a good idea to have a pashmina or the perfect Bompard cashmere voile. Can't wear yellow either, unless it has so much green it's chartreuse.

After seeing all your posts, I realize I do not own one yellow garment. Not one. Now I am on a mission to make something yellow. Why don't I own any? Love that combination, thanks!

This is a gorgeous wardrobe, as are all of the ones I've seen so far. I'm leaving on a two week cruise (swoon) in a few weeks, with about ten days at sea (double swoon). I'm trying to put together a packing list, so I don't look too dressed up, or to shleppy for those sea days. I'm certainly going to search your suggestions for some ideas. Thanks.

I'll echo "charming". I like the paler yellow with navy, as you've concocted the wardrobe. Not my color, but I just love all the pieces, espcially the navy Nicole Farhi skirt. Lots of ideas here.

Thanks so much for your inspirational posts – they have really been such a help in my search for the perfect, authentic wardrobe! I was delighted to see your post April in Paris because…I am going to Paris for ten days in April! I really love and suit grey as a basic, do you have any suggestions for color combinations using grey as a basic? I definitely suit the pinks and lilacs, but would love a visual representation if you could! Also, what shoes would you recommend wearing for walking around Paris – I have back problems, and need comfortable shoes, but refuse to wear the dreaded sneakers! I have looked EVERYWHERE for the perfect walking shoe that combines comfort with support and aesthetic sensibility, but have yet to find them! Thanks in anticipation! Patsy x

I'm visiting from Tish's blog. Love all of the yellow you've included. It gives everything a nice fresh feeling. But then again, I love yellow and fortunately it looks good on me.
