    Lovely shade of soft purple. I’d love that colour in my wardrobe.

    Janice, do you think wool leggings plus wool dress would be shooting the moon?! I have never tried either and wonder if together they would pull or create a glowing static charge ready to power a city?!

      Pull = pill!

      I’ve wondered the same thing.

      When I wore my wool& dress with wool leggings I didn’t have too much trouble with static. That said, I often wore a full slip because I like how dresses “ride” on my body with a slip.

        Fabulous idea about the slip—and thanks for blazing the trail!

    Hol,
    Super-fine merino wool is a very special product – and it feels like warm silk next to the skin as the tiny scales on raw will have been removed so it isn’t itchy. It never pills. I have four fitting long-sleeve tops with roll collars bought over many years and still going strong. I am in Tasmania, Australia and just into spring, so I have been wearing one or other of them nearly every single day for the last six months. I don’t know if it is possible to shrink them, but they haven’t yet.
    They go in a general cool washing machine wash after one or two wears as I wear them all day, including some gardening most days, so the cuffs can get dirty. Cancer has visited me and my chemo requires me to wear long sleeves in the sun, and I wore my superfines last summer on many hot days as well (and we have very high UV here). It is just nothing like ‘ordinary’ wool (including being way more expensive – sorry to have to say that).
    I have one in cream, one in fuchsia pink (for miserable winter days) and two mid-blue which go with nearly everything in my wardrobe. The fibre is the same, but fabrics is made in various grades – all beautiful. The sheep are carefully bred for the fine wool, but the process is the key.

    That sweatshirt looks cozy. Tempted.

    Silly question but are the tops worn under or over the dress?🤔

    Genie,
    You have so many outstanding tips! Thank you for sharing so much about the fabric (it’s movement and strand quality), your stellar color combinations, and your boldness to wear these fine creations living life to the fullest, hands in dirt! My toddler and I will surely follow right in your footsteps! You have made up my mind to buy both dress and leggings! Call me sheep! :) Wishing you strength and joyful moments as you undergo your chemo. Thank you for sharing your precious energy, Genie! :)
