Excel and LARGE PRINT version of Starting From Scratch Wardrobe Worksheets available!

Just because I can, and because I know some of you love to tinker in Excel, I’m made the Excel file available here:Add to Cart

and because I know that a larger print version will be handy if you want to do a lot of note taking, I made an eight-page, landscape layout version of the original worksheets, available here:

Add to Cart

As with all things here at The Vivienne Files, if I can do anything to make your life easier, please let me know.

And thanks for reading my work – I appreciate it more than you can imagine!

hugs all around,
Janice

Is it possible to order to another country? I've tried but I can't just make it work.

I've always assumed that anybody could use Paypal – can anybody from another country shed some light on this question? thanks, Janice

Paypal is not the problem. The issue is when I have to fill in My adderas, zip code etc.

Just wanted to say thank you for your wisdom and dedication. You offer us not one, not two, but several formulas for building wardrobes that work for us, whatever our needs and lifestyles may be. It's not just about the clothes. It's about making our mornings easier. Helping us feel confident and natural in what we are wearing. Teaching us to be fiscally responsible with our shopping. Keeping our vacation luggage at a weight that we can easily manage. For all of that and more — THANK YOU. (And hope you feel better soon.)

    Dear Janice,

I really have to get caught up on this "Starting from scratch"-thing – it sounds like a brilliant idea. I haven't tried ordering the exel sheet yet, but hopefully if the form requires a state, it will accept NA as well as a different format of zip code and a non-US country.

Update: Since I am already a Paypal user, I had no problems at all ordering the files.

I could see this series as a way of "shopping" my closet and putting a well curated wardrobe. Then I will remove everything else to storage and live with the "new" wardrobe for a period of time. At the end of this I can reassess gems from storage, create a new capsule from them or decide to remove them. This seems an easier way to clear a closet of dreck without the stress of a marathon decluttering, I hope to learn something about my style, taste, silhouettes and fabric choices. The bonus is I don't have to spend a dime up front. Thank you for helping me to think differently about quality vs quantity,

I'm helping an old friend who decided her wardrobe was "dowdy." We are starting from scratching — identifying what in her current wardrobe will still work for her new image, targeting the "holes" created when other stuff is jettisoned, and making a list for new purchases that over time will build her new wardrobe. This spreadsheet will help document the process and the final results. Thanks!!!

    Hello Janice,

Thank you for the love, effort and raw devotion your put towards teaching us how to put together a capsule wardrobe from scratch. Do you have a guide for rotating or mix/matching these items? I would like to know how many days worth of outfits I can create beforehand so that I don’t have to think in the morning, I can just see what items I have to take out of the closet to wear that day.

    Thank you,
    Rachel

        Great, thanks for your reply.
I did google it instead & managed to get into it that way.
I have another question for you…
What program/app do you use to display all the clothes for the capsules?
        Thanks, Janelle

Hi Janice and Janelle! I can’t get any of the buttons to work on the Planning Templates pages – there are a few things I would like to purchase. Janelle – how did you get in thru Google?
