This is elegant and stylish. The basics are deceptively but simple the colour zing of the orange genius. Love it! Annie, Sydney.

This combination really shows how easy it is to build an interesting wardrobe around a few basic pieces. Fab!

Going to dinner (or brunch or both) in Boston- Little Italy, this weekend. Using your suggestions to dress casually, but stylishly. Pulled up one of last years packing posts to pick my outfit which must also draw from other things I am bringing. It is so easy now and I pack 3x less.

Love the orange and beige. I have several orange, burnt orange or peach pieces that I love. Will use this as inspiration. Thanks, Janice.

These are colours! I just bought a beige shirtdress like your basic in Paris and I am going to wear it with my orange scarf and orange Repettos tomorrow. Great combinations!

Beautiful, as always. It won't hurt your feelings – will it? – if I trade the orange for turquoise? of course not!

    Love orange! Thanks!
On a more sombre note, on my drive home tonight, heard report of the latest tragedy in a Bangladesh clothing warehouse (just one of many mass killings in the clothing industry this year) – more than 100 people crushed by a factory that was unsafe and producing cheap clothes for American/Canadian buyers.

I know Janice often reminds us to recycle, reduce and buy American (I'll add Canadian)-made clothing – I'm hoping that LL Bean and other major companies are not dressing us in affordable clothing by supporting such horrible working conditions for thousands of overseas workers.

Thanks for all you do to help educate, Janice – after all, we drive the market by the clothing choices we make (and don't).
