How to wear a navy v-neck sweater

As before, you will see some familiar garments and accessories.  To me, it is a delightful surprise to start preparing a post with a new color of sweater, readjust my aesthetic brain to that color, and then find that there a lot of flattering “common ground” with previous posts that I’ve done…  Today I was particularly delighted to see how well yesterday’s coral tee shirt and flats flattered the navy sweater and white jeans.  Although I think green and navy might be a new favorite for me!

Beautiful…. And yes, your 'laziness' shines through day after day ;))
A long time ago I wore a pleated (yes, it was a long time ago) skirt in a scottisch plaid in navy with that same shade of green and a fine narrow yellow stripe running through. I wore that with everything! Thanks for your most excellent blog. Can't get dressed without it.

Am head over heels in outfit crush with the coral/navy combo. Coral, navy, and khaki are my go-to colors for spring. With a dash of spring green thrown in because green and navy make my heart beat faster. And just to make sure the drool shorts out my keyboard, there's that fabulous yellow print skirt. Yum!!

Thanks for a beautiful start to the day!

I love the coral/navy combo too. Thanks for answering my request, Janice, but I now have a dilemma. I was about to rush out to buy a camel v-neck sweater, then I read this post and started thinking about navy, however I suspect that I should wait as I know that more are to come!

I meant to comment earlier about the ridiculous criticism that you received. As a fellow blogger, I know how much work you must put into your posts to reach your high standards, apart from all the thought that you put into them and the inspiration that you provide to the rest of us. Keep up your excellent work!

Definitely wait another week – I'm working on grey, brown is definitely on the horizon, and at least five other colors. I'm eager to hear any color requests that anybody has….

I am in love with purple right now, could you do one with purple as the main color?

Oh yes, I'd be happy to. Dark purple, medium violet, or a soft lilac? (I'm starting to think I'll end up doing all three…)

I was thinking a darker purple, but any or all would be great!

The coral with navy is very pleasing. I have worn green and navy together when I can get the right shades to work together. While I have not tried the coral and navy combination, it is now on my list.

Janice ,many more of us appreciate and value your skill and gift.
The fact you put all the time and effort for people you do not know
is amazing.Unfortunately there are people in this world who love to critize .
They are so short sighted they cannot see the gift you give.
    PS I love royal blue.
    Thank you

I love what you've done with separates. I really enjoy looking at all the combinations since I love classic style so much.

    Cheers!
