I like that Fenn Wright Mason coat and it's on a good sale now, but I hesitate to spend that much money on something that's only 36% wool. I truly don't understand why British shops are so shy about using wool when it's the ideal fabric for cold weather! It can't be that prohibitively expensive to use in a coat that was originally nearly £300, surely?

Pretty, and perhaps the pink is a hint that spring will come someday soon? Mary P

This is more relevant to the Starting From Scratch series, so I apologize if this isn't the right place to ask my question:

Should the two accent colors need to be able to be worn together? In most of your examples it's the neutrals plus one accent. In my particular case, my favorite color is red, and I already have some lovely red pieces, so that's accent number one. But I can't decide on accent number two. I'm a redhead and always get the most compliments when wearing green. But I can't wear red plus green without looking like Christmas. I also really like yellow, but red and yellow might be a little much.

    Thank you in advance.

Nope, they don't HAVE to work together. It's pretty handy if they do, but it's certainly not a requirement. Especially if you want to buy just a couple of pieces to have a short-term sort of "fad" accent color, you don't need to worry that it works with anything except your neutrals.
