1 Dress, 100 Days: Day 14 and 15

September 15, 2022

Yesterday and today the weather has been warm, so I’m not wearing scarves. My linen shirt worn over my wool dress is cool and keeps the sun off of my shoulders – I’m very careful about the sun!

But I AM being reckless and put my wedding ring back on my hand; if my hands swell, they can just cut off my ring finger!

love,

Janice

What a lovely tribute – to design a bracelet for Janice! The colours are perfect and the wee clothes hanger is the perfect wink to TVF logo.

I recently had my wedding ring re-sized. My marriage has certainly evolved and grown over the past decades – why shouldn’t my ring!?

I’m in medicine, and one thing many of us do with a wedding ring we can’t wear when scrubbed into surgeries is wear it on a necklace. You could get one that’s designed to display the ring well, and they really aren’t that expensive. I’ve worn mine for years and found it really opens up options for me when accessorizing (especially as my wedding and engagement rings are different metals).
