Chic Sightings: Navy Tunic and White Cropped Trousers, times 6

July 22, 2014

It seems to be almost the uniform of the weekend – roll up the sleeves of a navy linen tunic, pull on some white cropped trousers, and accent with brightly colors jewelry and sandals…  The jewelry isn’t all precious stones, and the sandals are casual, but the effect of the bright accents was very eye-catching.I think you can learn a lot about your personal color preferences based on which of these looks appeal to you, or which you swear you could never wear!

I have always loved navy with yellow accents, but would have never thought to pair it with turquoise.

This is a great way to wear white pants. I do this already but love the additional ideas!

I would wear all but the hot pink version. As a redhead, I have no hot pink in my life.

The green is a clear winner for me – my favourite colour, and I love it with navy

Loved them all, I am trying to wear just two/three things at the moment, ie top/trousers, skirt/ top, etc, I love the simplicity and clean lines, perfectly illustrated.

Just gorgeous–and so easy to accomplish IF you think of it. Thanks for doing the thinking.

I never think of accessorizing with a color not in the outfit. I love it and will work it into my wardrobe!

Lovely outfits. Comfortable, chic and so easy to dress up or down a notch.

Ooh what a lovely set of outfits. I think I'd happily wear them all, but coral, turquoise, royal blue speak to me the most. I'd also be tempted to play up the white with a necklace of big fake pearls and crystals.

Lovely. Also I love getting a formula for something to throw on. I need
    to search for bright sandals.
My thing at the moment is noticing how many of my peers – those of mature years – look too "done up". The hair's rigid, the lipstick is too noticeable etc. The trick is to get some insouciance while being chic.

I would wear any of the above combinations, but am especially attracted to green and navy blue.

Love them All. Wow! Navy and white. Such a perfect combo for summer. Also great with just gold or natural leather or the classic red. But I love these fresh alternatives.

White trousers are vital for sun holiday vacations. You must pack black or white trousers. White linen trousers, however, are always preferred, since it is a sun holiday, and no striking colours would be exquisite. You need to make sure that they are made of linen. This would give them a graceful look.Best Parkour Backpack
