This is a really lush combination. I love it! Reminds me of an outfit I had in high school that I treasured. I just may try this combo. Janice, just when I settle on my neutral base, you introduce something that peaks my interest and tempts me to try something else!

I always love the long weekend packing capsules. Can you show one of these capsules with what you would add to make this work for a longer (10 day to two week trip)? I'm making final decisions for holiday travel and trying to figure out how to balance what I need while maintaining carry-on baggage only.

Love your blog! You have inspired me to do a major wardrobe overhaul and I did a swap out with a friend and traded all my black that was not my best color (and I had tons!) with her browns and warm tone clothes that she wasn't wearing. I am still working on it, and with the help of her brown, khaki and olive cargo type pants have even let go a little bit of my blue jean addiction. I am a strawberry blonde with blue eyes – would love to see a wardrobe in brown, caramels, camel and cream with blue. The struggle is what to put with it. I feel oranges and yellows suit me better, but the olive is easier to find

Another question on the above – My husband and I dance. Would you recommend building a separate wardrobe for that, or working it in to my regular wardrobe. I usually wear sexy jeans and tops to stay cool in with some sparkle. Hobby number 2 produces the same question – We are in MN and I do lots of horse activities including riding and driving, even sleighing in the winter and camping in the summer. This time of year I treat this kind of like winter sports with lots of layers of fleece.

Lovely rich colours! I couldn't wear the camel, but could certainly do a cooler beige version.

I like those two blouses you feature too. I'm very keen on blouses that go in the washing machine and don't need ironing!
