I’m really not dead…

But I’ve started a new job – in a BAKERY!!!  My schedule is totally kerfluffulated (yes, that’s the technical term), and my ability to do anything but work and sleep is very limited.

I’ll be back, as soon as I get myself sorted out.  I think of you all, every day!

love,
Vivienne

Good for you. You will figure out a schedule that keeps you healthy in a business that typically begins very early in the morning. Everything else will fall into place. I hope that your position in the bakery will allow you to use the creative talents that you so clearly have in abundance.

I certainly will be checking your blog regularly knowing that you will return when you are able. Best wishes.

Good luck on this new adventure! Ditto in hoping you can use your creative talents! They are lucky to have you! Just breathe – you'll embrace your new routine!

Now, see, if this were my blog and my new job at a bakery, I would have to make a whole new category called "buying bigger pants."

Congrats on the job, from a long-time but mostly silent reader.

I'd missed your regular posts, but a new job is a great reason to blog less! Take care while you adjust, and get back to us when you are ready.

Oh, I hope this is instead of, and not in addition to, your "heavy lifting" job!!

I'm so laughing about the buying bigger pants comment!

Good luck and I hope we can hear from you before too long.

Wonderful! I know you'll be inspired by this job as you were your last one, and I can't wait to see what you come up with. I join the others in congratulations and wishes to be gentle on yourself during this transition. I worked in a bakery I loved, but I remember those early hours decorating cakes — VERy early hours. We'll wait for you to come back to posting, when you're ready. Ah those cherry tarts… ;)

I'm sure you will have more will power than I would have in a bakery every day. Good luck, and don't worry about us. We'll be here when you return!

Good luck in your new job. Another foray into the world of aesthetics apparently. Missing your posts. You're probably dead tired. New jobs do that to one.

    Till soon then–

    Good morning,

Congratulations and take care of yourself. Now we can look forward to posts about how to be chic at 5 am with flour all over you.

I am just about finished organizing my spring/summer/ Baltic cruise capsule. I really used your plan and your words and I am very pleased with how it has turned out. Just have one pair of sandals to buy and am waiting patiently for the right pair to show up. Plus I am sewing about a third of it and have a ways to work through those projects.
