The extremely lovely people at She-Beads have made us an offer we can’t refuse – they will make a one-of-a-kind bracelet for me to give away to one of you!
So, they asked me what color scheme I would prefer…
I have a preference – the colors of The Vivienne Files – greys, white and soft pink.
But in order to give us all a choice, I culled back through Pinterest to find the most frequently repinned images and color schemes, and the last four of these options came from there.
So which do you love the most? Which would make a gorgeous bracelet?
How nice….they are all lovely, but I prefer E. I love gray and rust together and I would never have thought of that color combination without seeing it on your blog. It has been difficult to find the right accent pieces that pull them together. I have one scarf with those colors, but would love something I could wear in the summer because I have a great linen tee from J. Crew in rust and a beautiful draped sleeveless top in rust. It is kind of tough to integrate rust into a summer wardrobe. Thank you.
Option C, please…with maybe the addition of a little pop of rose or fuschia? (This probably doesn't turn up in your Pinterest stats, but I'm slowly making my way through all of your past posts–I read a handful most days. I'm still in 2012, and enjoying it all IMMENSELY. Such gorgeous clothing–all I can do is sigh. Many, many thanks…)(BTW, most of your guest post links from several years ago have died, I think when the hosts (Woman of a Certain Age?) redesigned her website. Such a shame, because they always look like fascinating topics…)
She has a great blog, too. If you do a search on her blog for Vivienne, all of the posts from here pop up and you can just flip from one to the next :)
All, just lovely, but if I had to choose … option E. As someone whose entire wardrobe is brown or black, I have learned a lot about incorporating color from reading Vivienne's blog.
C gets my vote. Such a beautiful dusty blue, and it looks wonderful with the pale gray as well as the taupe and brown. (Normally I find brown to be uninspiring, but it works so well when combined with the other colors.) Kris
I have had a look at the She Beads web site and there a lots of color combinations there that I like! I like the black and white, the white and black, the multi tropical are combination has all the flair of Carmen Miranda. My favorite is the blue, green and white Emmy. I have just had a look at their collections and they are all wonderful. I want the brightest one – the one that stands out the most so I can show it off! I like D. Thanks Carol S
Me again. I have just watched the video on how they make the beads. Each bead pattern is a work of art and it takes a while to put together a string of beads. Beautiful, distinctive and individual work. Gorgeous Carol S.
Hmm such a difficult choice, I like A but would substitute Olive for the Black so I am not much help at all so A! I ordered a pair of shoes from Shoes of Prey. I will let you know how they turn out.
J'adore option A. We visited the "Vivienne" covered walkway near the Palais Royale with shops and bistro in Paris and thought of you! I spied some tiles and voila "Vivienne" marked very clearly on the floor and smiled….they are just like your blog header!!!!

Although my personal preferences are A, B and D, I vote for A — specifically because of your original reasoning (they are the Vivienne Files colors), which means that whoever wins it will have that extra reminder of your wonderful, wonderful, wonderful blog. Linda T
I vote for C. I just have to have blue somewhere in my wardrobe. I love the subdued colors too. Thanks so much for all you do, Janice. I look forward to reading your blog every day.
Good day, I do not comment on blogs, as a general rule. I do, however, organize my wardrobe around color combinations. And I love jewelry (both fine jewelry and costume, if interesting). I have found it difficult to locate bracelets that combine pink and grey. I usually settle for mostly silver/white gold jewelry, with scarf that combines the palette more completely. I would vote for Option A. And I very much appreciate your work, as do the other ladies who will be going to Rome and the south of France with me in one week; I have contributed to their list of addictions by introducing them to The Vivienne Files.
Bracelet A! Thank you for your blog: I changed my wardrobe and no longer buy just items. I now have a plan and it works, thanks to you! Anna-Marie South Africa
Hhhmmmmmm, I've noticed that several people have left more than one comment. Does that double their chances of winning? It goes against my sense of fair play. What about you?
Your Photographer Friend likes B. The color Green has been proven to boost happiness (wish I could find the link of the article I read so I could share with you).
Option E! My colors, through and through!
Thank you.
All would be beautiful, but I vote for Option E as well.
Option C, please…with maybe the addition of a little pop of rose or fuschia? (This probably doesn't turn up in your Pinterest stats, but I'm slowly making my way through all of your past posts–I read a handful most days. I'm still in 2012, and enjoying it all IMMENSELY. Ooh, thanks! That's a great tip! I'll check it out.
I can't successfully wear warm colors. So I prefer A
I'd pick A but would add some navy, my current favourite colour
Alice
I second that! It's a pretty color combo as is, but I'm transitioning from black to navy.
Another vote for A, it is very difficult to find this combination in accessories in the market right now.
I prefer A too- and a navy touch would be lovely!
Another vote for converting black to navy! Or making C have grays instead of browns. :) Why do I always like the things that are not a choice!!???
Navy would be my pick too, had there been a choice with navy.
Couldn't the winner choose her own scheme?
All, just lovely, but if I had to choose … option E. As someone whose entire wardrobe is brown or black, I have learned a lot about incorporating color from reading Vivienne's blog.
Definitely E please. Thanks Ruthie
Either A or D. What lovely combinations.
C gets my vote. Such a beautiful dusty blue, and it looks wonderful with the pale gray as well as the taupe and brown. (Normally I find brown to be uninspiring, but it works so well when combined with the other colors.)

B please.
E please
E would be my choice, but C is lovely too!
Option C!
D! The red would make a beautiful bracelet statement!
add my vote for D
A would be lovely for the grey-haired among us. I am working out my summer basic wardrobe right now and pink will probably be the accent colour.
My vote is for A, followed by D please.
Option A please. I also like the navy suggestion.
C, A, and E are my top 3.
I like A first, and C second.
E please. Although I do like the Blackhawks beads as I am also from Chicago.
C and then A for me. How will you decide?! All would be gorgeous.
A. (D would be perfect if the camel was swapped out for grey.)
I like D…chic, confident, sassy and strong!
Option C is my choice, I love the brown and blue combination.
Hands down, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.
Hmm such a difficult choice, I like A but would substitute Olive for the Black so I am not much help at all so A!
I ordered a pair of shoes from Shoes of Prey. I will let you know how they turn out.
Option B please. :-)
Francesca
B or C please !
Definitely A.
Definitely prefer A, with C second. Sounds like a nice offer!
This is very generous. E is my vote.
Deb from Vancouver
Dear Janice
How will you choose the winner? From all the lovely options, how can I choose. If you pick me, I want B.
Thanks again for all you do for your devoted fans.
Louise P
Oh, I have to go with C. It's very pretty.
–LindaC
A or C get my vote. Love the combination of grey and soft pink, but blue is lovely, too. SheBeads sounds like a place to investigate.
J'adore option A.
We visited the "Vivienne" covered walkway near the Palais Royale with shops and bistro in Paris and thought of you!

I would love to wear four of the options, but I would have to vote for B.
I lean towards A & B… but would prefer to answer, "One of each, please!" :)
I go for d definitely. Great idea BTW ! Thanks.
Option A and then D – merci!
A
Je prefere A.
A or C……..both are lovely!
My favorites as well!
E please!
A gets my vote
I'm in the A camp!
C please, since I have a scarf to wear with it! :-)
E
Choice "A" was made for me!
I like A or D
Although my personal preferences are A, B and D, I vote for A — specifically because of your original reasoning (they are the Vivienne Files colors), which means that whoever wins it will have that extra reminder of your wonderful, wonderful, wonderful blog. Linda T
It's your party so it should be A, but if they gave your readers a discount for B…
I love A!!
Definitely A. C a distant second. Because A would fit in my wardrobe, though possibly I could get C to fit in. ;)
c
A of course! I didn't hesitate for one second. It would be the most flattering to all skin tones.
Happy weekend!!
xoxox
A and C are the most appealing to me.
I vote for C. I just have to have blue somewhere in my wardrobe. I love the subdued colors too. Thanks so much for all you do, Janice. I look forward to reading your blog every day.
I vote for 'A' but having seen their work, choosing one blind-folded would still work for any of us! Unique art.
I prefer the Vivienne Files colours. Of the rest, I prefer C and A. Thank you.
I prefer the Vivienne Files colours. Of the rest, I prefer C and A. Thank you.
A or C – love them both and LOVE your blog!!
Definitely A!!
A, with E as second choice.
B!

A is lovely!
Another vote for A! Such a perfect combo.
A is by far my favorite
They are all lovely but A is the loveliest
A for sure
A, then C as a second choice
A please.
Another vote for A!
None of them match my wardrobe very much so I guess I will vote for A for the Vivienne File colors! :)
A or C! This is exciting !
Love D!
A please, with C as a close second choice.
It is E for me followed by B. They would both work with my colours. Love the blog :)
Thanks for asking, I like C
I think combination a would make the prettiest bracelet.
A but substituting the black for the pretty powder blue in C. Black will look too harsh in the delicate design of the beads.
Gosh, I really love D…be they're all beautiful,
I would choose B, D, or E. What a great giveaway — thanks to you and Shebeads!
For me, the most beautiful is the first one –
A
Xoxo
Nina
I must agree with you! Choice A!
A is my favourite combination.
a
a
A please, it's one of my favorite combinations and that pale pink next to my face takes ten years off my face. Thank you for the chance to vote.
I vote for A, C and E in that order. Thanks for sharing their beautiful jewelry, I have two She-Beads bracelets on the way to me.
My vote is for E, as it would work well with my current wardrobe. However how could anyone resist A, in The Vivienne Files colour scheme?
A, please. I agree with Beatriz.
My favorite is the E combination, with its mix of earthy and vibrant colors. Its very Southwestern.
A please!
I would vote for A followed by C.
A!
Love A. My colours. :-)
B – the colours I wear most often when traveling long-term. What fun to wear in distant climes!
– Sue G
A, definitely A.
a vote for A….
A,C,& E are my faves.
I love A!
I vote B!
I vote for A as these are my colours. I absolutely love D with its amazing pop of red, but sadly, those colours just do not suit my skin tone.
Bracelet A! Thank you for your blog: I changed my wardrobe and no longer buy just items. I now have a plan and it works, thanks to you!
Anna-Marie South Africa
I like A best
C, please.
B is perfect for me!
A is lovely
I'm all for D, just my colors
How lovely and generous – I vote B as it's not a combination easily found outside of custom work.
A or C! Mostly, A! Perfect!
C definitely! :)
I vote for C! )
A is definitely my colors!!
I love A!
A is my favorite and the colors I wear the most.
Hhhmmmmmm, I've noticed that several people have left more than one comment. Does that double their chances of winning? It goes against my sense of fair play. What about you?
A for general occasion. E for Autumn
Your Photographer Friend likes B. The color Green has been proven to boost happiness (wish I could find the link of the article I read so I could share with you).
Red is good luck in bracelets, like red roses, so D is my favorite.
My vote if for A, I just love that color scheme!
