The Vivienne Files is not dead – they’ve only been moved back to their old URL.
Due to circumstances that only someone MUCH more computer-savvy than me could explain, the site theviviennefiles.com has died. Gone kaput. Vanished. Google ate it, and Google will NOT spit it back up for me.
So I can be found at theviviennefiles.blogspot.com.
I’m so sorry. If I knew who to yell at, I would be screaming myself hoarse right now…

I am up and running, but I'm back in my old spot. Who would have thought, NINE DAYS after I bought my domain and linked it through Google, that Google would retire that program and ALL SUPPORT FOR IT???

Glad you are back. I hope you have backups of everything because it is so important for many of us to get our daily fix. Love the white outfits, especially the pink. I wear 90% white blouses and shirts and neutral bottoms and sometimes more colorful tops. I am searching for silk scarves and a couple of colorful pairs of shoes. mg

Janice, this happened to me once, and eventually I recovered all the data. Don't give up just yet. But, I feel your pain.

Oh, I'm so sorry!! Blogger did that to me once and I almost had a nervous breakdown until it came back again. I never knew what happened or why.
Google gremlins at work! Nice of them to warn you when you signed up. I love love love your site. I can dream of a life where I'd need those great outfits … Mean while I'm slumming in my jeans and t shirts working in the yard and house and keeping up with the kids. It's not that I don't have things to wear, just no opportunity. Sigh.

Yesterday when I tried to read your site, I received the error message and thought it was MY computer because I am having troubles with my computer right now. I was so upset because I thought I had lost your site for the long term. Knowing how upset I was over that, I can only imagine you being 10 times more upset! I am so relieved that you are up and running again.
