I need to get a biography of Hilma Af Klint… She’s got to be an interesting person, don’t you think?
Our heroine is smack in the middle of hot weather, and was luck to be able to find things that are perfect for right now. And I think this might be one of our heroines who doesn’t wear dresses or skirts very often; she chose white jeans in place of a denim skirt! I don’t blame her a bit…
Hat – Hat Attack; bobby pins – L.Erickson; print tee – Lands’ End; striped top – rag & bone; white tank top – Lands’ End; white jeans – Alex Mill; sandals – Reef
This is what her Weekly Timeless Wardrobe looks like now; I’ve taken the liberty of making the change where she substituted jeans for a skirt.
You do know that this template is a guideline, and not a law? For example, if you abhor cotton turtlenecks, I would NEVER force you to own one…
This wardrobe has lots of potential; I think (if we can find things) next month we’ll look for her brown accents!
I love these accessories; it’s fascinating that she can easily justify having both gold and silver things!
As usual, our heroine spends a bit of time checking how well her new purchases will work with her existing wardrobe. If you can’t wear it at LEAST three ways, maybe rethink?
Yet another wardrobe that I could cheerfully wear. I’m starting to think that I would wear almost anything if someone else was doing my laundry!
love,
Janice

This is such a soft and pretty capsule! I have to admit that I’d need more ‘true’ warm weather clothing…and I live in Maine! It’s tough to wear long pants and long sleeves unless you are in AC 100% of the time. That being said, the soft rose, white, silver/gray and chestnut are such a delightful combination. I look forward to seeing more of the chestnut as the months moving forward!
One of my favorite elements of this capsule are the touches of metallic. The metallic sneakers, sandals, cross body and jewelry just add a dash of fun to this lovely, but restrained, wardrobe. I’m a huge fan of touches of metallic all season long…I even have a silver puffer vest!
Oooo I have a silver puffer vest too. I love it!
This is just lovely. Thank you!
I do love this wardrobe. If you were to swap navy in for the black, I would absolutely adopt it as my standard. It’s even inspired me to add more pink into my current wardrobe (navy, grey, burgundy, white and now pink!).
I’ve said before I’m a bit trepidatious about blending in the brown, but I know you will do it with your usual style and grace. :)
Pipsqueak,
That sounds like a beautiful color palette! Navy is my neutral. I’m going to see if I can make a small travel capsule using those colors.
I have a navy dress, a charcoal grey tank dress, and shirts in white, pink, and burgundy/maroon. Pink tourmaline stud earrings and a hand painted pink silk scarf (Scarves By Ellen, she’s fabulous), and a ribbon belt with a blue and pink pattern.
This is going to be a beautiful travel capsule. Thank you so much for sharing your colors! Elisa in Alaska
I agree, it sounds like just a beautiful color palette.
Another gorgeous wardrobe! I could be quite happy wearing this as well.
I agree, subbing out the black for navy would make this resemble about half of my current wardrobe. I just love these colors!
This is a beautiful, timeless capsule.
I can’t wait for the brown. I love wearing brown and pink together.
I’m excited about the throwback.
I just read a biography of her! By Julia Voss. It was FASCINATING!! This group of colors feels really soothing and great to me. I’ve been gravitating towards black and white, and I love how the addition of soft pink, gray, and chestnut softens everything.
