I love this painting – I imagine living somewhere with changing seasons, but nothing too drastic. (maybe Ireland?) Soft knits and soft colors…
This heroine has a pretty good handle on her various seasonal garments, but she’s going to try to stick to filling in her template. As always, I remind you that this list is a guideline and NOT a rule. For example, if you never wear dresses or skirts, you’re going to have to change at LEAST the bottom row of garments…
And that’s as it should be; you should personalize any guidelines to suit what you most love. It’s YOUR wardrobe, after all.
A tank top and shorts in one of your neutrals is always a wise purchase for hot weather! A perfect accent color polo shirt is an easy choice. And our heroine has opted to grab this lovely blue cardigan, because the weather WILL get cold again. (or else stay cold forever, if you live in Chicago!)
Planning for the next seasons is never foolish. Prices will almost certainly go up, and selections will change, so something that really speaks to you should be heard and acknowledged!
5 white bracelets – Chico’s; camel tank top – Lands’ End; teal polo shirt – L.L.Bean; raffia bag – Sśaje Neutrals; cardigan – Alex Mill; camel shorts – Lands’ End; gold sneakers – Sam Edelman
So our heroine how has all but 2 of the garments in her Spring list, and a good start on summer. We will have until the end of the calendar year to fill in Autumn and Winter clothes. Given that cold-weather gear will hit the stores in mid-July, I’d say that’s plenty of time…
This wardrobe is pretty close to foolproof. None of the colors here clash, so you’d have to deliberately try to put together an unattractive outfit!
Yes, this heroine looks for scarves all the time! And earrings…
Just for fun, I’ve included some outfits in three colors, just to push the limits of what goes together from this wardrobe. Our heroine’s scarves go a long way toward making all of her clothes dance together happily…
I love the softness of this palette; I think that the camel and teal are dark enough to serve as “real” accent colors…
love,
Janice
You can see all of the earlier versions of this wardrobe here:Christmas Day Preview, January, February, March, April, May
p.s. Ten years ago, we looked at a scarf that was given to me, and found all SORTS of colors in it…
Of all of the wardrobes you are following through this year, this one is my favorite. The camel, green and blue ‘zone’ scarf is the one I like the most from this entire series. As always, I’d swap out one of the pants or shorts for a skirt, but I really love this overall vibe. It will truly work for a variety of women in a variety of locations.
My favorite piece for the June installment is the periwinkle cardigan jacket. This piece is stunning and could easily be dressed up or down. I would love to see a skirt or pants in this same color for next month to create Janice’s idea of a ‘suit’. This is truly a standout piece and I can’t wait to see it celebrated! I’m also envisioning a puffer coat in this yummy blue for winter!
Lovely. All the wardrobes this year are just so outstanding. Thank you!
The bronze-y camel is my new favorite neutral – I love this collection!
Overall, this wardrobe’s colors are too soft for my tastes. But I also like the camel-colored pieces and can use them in a different palette. It is always interesting to see how all the wardrobes evolve month by month.
Hi Janice!
First off, I’d love to tell you how much I enjoy all of your posts! They are super inspirational!
I am getting ready to “gut” my closet, having moved from South Florida to the mountains of North Georgia! FOUR SEASONS – YAY!!!
I just purchased a few templates, but when I clicked to buy “The Weekly Timeless Wardrobe 4 Templates for 4 Seasons”, the pop-up stated that it did not exist!
HELP! I find that particular template a really helpful guide – to see all four seasons on one page!
I also tried to send you a direct message, but I received a message to “try again later”. Help!!
Thanks as always!

I will need to do something similar if/when we move to the cold frozen north. Good luck. I would enjoy hearing about your progress.
This is such a soft, feminine wardrobe. All the wardrobes in this series have been so inspirational, it is easy to take away a great many ideas. Thank you for all the work that goes into these inspiring wardrobes, and bringing art with it as well.
Pretty colors and I like the raffia bag and teal polo shirt. However, would love to see a more glamorous take on one of the paintings. I miss the stylishness of a heroine like the one in Saints Genevieve and Apollonia by Lucas Cranach the Elder.
Seconded! My life may not actually be that glam, but I always find the more aspirational wardrobes inspirational – not to mention gorgeous!
