A New Goodie for You!

April 6, 2025

We’ve talked a lot about how useful the Weekly Timeless Wardrobe template is for planning – unless you live in a place that doesn’t have a 4-season climate!

So I went into the template and created EVERY possible combination of seasons that I think exist. (if you find more, please let me know!) You need a template with two Summer seasons and two Winter seasons? (I see you, snowbird!) It’s there…

Live somewhere that never gets terrible hot or cold? Now you can plan with two Springs and two Winters!

I hope this is helpful for you. It’s 70 pages (35 combinations, with both a clearly legible table of text and a “greyed out” table, so that you can write over it!), so it takes a minute or two to download.

Thus, it’s priced at the eye-popping price of $2.99, so my file hosting can get paid!

much love,

Janice

Hi Janice. As a gal from Sydney Australia I’ve just invested my $5.12AUD. The permutation that includes 2 summers, a spring and an autumn is perfect for me. Over the years I’ve been doing a translation in my head to adapt your tools to my weather patterns. Thanks for such a fun resource.

Thanks Janice. This is a great template for the changeable weather that we have in the UK. A few weeks ago, it was very chilly. We are currently experiencing warm, sunny weather in England with above average temperatures – 17-22C! Of course, most of my warmer weather clothes are in storage. The long range forecast is for above average temperatures to continue.

You should see at the bottom of the post a pink “view product” button.

I found the perfect template! Thank you! I live on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina, and the Fall, Fall, Spring, Summer is the best fit! Thank you for the work you do!

Now all of you who live in these no-winter places are making the rest of us jealous. I think I need something like fall, winter-with-winter-colours, winter-with-spring colours, summer.

As in, it’s April and we had a good dose of ice and snow here last week; but people want their pastels nonetheless.

Except that then there won’t be any short-sleeved things in the template, only long (fall) and sleeveless (summer). Maybe a fall-winter-winter-spring/summer version?

That’s me! I pretty much only have long-sleeved and sleeveless items in my wardrobe too!

I downloaded this and have played around with it over the past couple of days (I didn’t haul everything out of the closet, I already had a pretty accurate list of what’s in there). This was a really interesting exercise! What I found out: although I’m a bit overloaded on t-shirts and pullovers, I have more or less the Vivienne Files-classic amount of clothing. No great overloads (well, as I said, maybe a few more pullover sweaters than are strictly necessary). No great gaps, though a couple of things did come to mind that I will be looking for. But what I also discovered is that, if I try to slot all those things by season, my 13-piece capsules (on their own) look like I got dressed in the dark, except for the autumn list which would be perfect for a flight attendant’s uniform. I think the individual pieces are fine, but I need to let them cross back and forth between the seasons.

I just got mine today. Thank for doing this. I’m going with 2 Falls and 2 Springs in keeping with my move to Ecuador. Hopefully next January. Have fun in Ireland. I’m jealous.

When I click on View Product all it does it take me to a Buy Button, no visual of the template. Help?

It looks like the normal 4 seasons template, but it’s a number of pages with (for example) two columns of Fall and 2 columns of winter, or 2 columns or Spring and 2 columns of Summer. The file literally has enough pages in it to include EVERY possible combination of seasons.
The purpose? For those among us who never have a true Summer season, but have Spring, 2 Autumns and a Winter – there’s a template for that!
Live someplace hot where you only have maybe 1 Spring and 3 Summers? There’s a template for that!
      I hope this helps,
      hugs,
      Janice
