Chic Sightings: Beige Cardigan, 6 different outfits

September 27, 2013

Now that we can occasionally pull out our sweaters in Chicago, I’ve noticed that a LOT of women are wearing a simple beige wrap cardigan in all sorts of lovely ways:

Cardigan – Alpha Massimo Rebecchi, Tweed skirt – Stella Jean,
ivory sweater – Stefanel,   taupe suede pumps – Naturalizer,  black sweater – Stefanel,  printed skirt – Weekend by Max Mara, black pumps – Sofft

Cardigan – Alpha Massimo Rebecchi, Grey trousers – Giorgio Armani, grey blouse – See by Chloe,  grey flats – Munro,  navy top –
Shirt C-Zero,  navy trousers – Paul Smith, navy fabric loafers –
Munro

Cardigan – Alpha Massimo Rebecchi, sleeveless sweater – Stefanel,  beige
jeans – Frame Denim,  booties – Gentle Souls,  floral tee shirt – John Galliano,  copper velvet pants – Brunello Cucinelli, buckled boots – Lucky Brand

love,
Janice

This beige paired with black is my idea of a classic. Beautiful.

The beige sweater with the grey is perfect to me. The pants and blouse drape so well. Very sophisticated. Thank you!

Beige or camel with grey- one of my favorite combinations and one I began to use back in college. Going shopping today for a sweater and a pair of black ponte slim pants. I am sorely lacking in sweaters so I've given myself permission to splurge. And the ponte pants will be a helpful addition to all my outfits. Your beige wrap sweater has inspired me so I do hope I find one.

BTW- I recently purchased a silk sleeveless top in a plum/purple/gold print and a gold boyfriend cardigan. But I am stumped on what neutral to wear on the bottom. Nothing seems right. Can you suggest something? The items were from Coldwater Creek.

Hmmm…this is giving me ideas. I have a beige wrap sweater (somewhat lighter than the one pictured) that I seldom wear. I will try it with my gray pants.

My all time favorite outfit in college was a camel and grey striped turtle neck with a grey wool jumper (the dress kind, not the sweater kind.) I bet your beige wrap sweater and grey pants will look very sharp.

I think that beige is one of the dullest "colors" around, reminds me of the "flesh crayon"! Don't know why, buy I feel it ages me and don't know of any skin tone it makes look good. The rest of course, I LOVE!! Just can't do the beige, or for that matter khaki color…and sorry again, but beige leggings make women look naked
