Red, black, white, and two Hermes scarves; another travel six-pack

May 14, 2013

I received a great question; someone had two very carefully chosen Hermes scarves, and wanted some ideas about how to travel with them.  The scarves shared a common color theme of black, white and red, and lent themselves to both silver and gold accessories.

Red & white striped tee shirt – Edith A.Miller, Gold hoop earrings – Brooks Brothers, Gold watch – Brooks Brothers, Black pants -Crea, Black velvet loafers –Jon Josef, Black swing coat – John Lewis, Black crossbody bag – Dareen Hakim, Red tote bag – Steven Alan

Black & white necklace – Georg Jensen, Earrings – Kohl’s,  Grey dress – Tavan & Mitto, Slingbacks – Stuart Weitzman,  White silk shirt – Reiss, Black skirt – James Perce, Red cardigan – J. Crew, Grey trousers – Eileen Fisher, Bracelet – Fornash, Striped tee shirt – Edith A. Miller, Red flats – Sole Society

love,

Janice

Two of my comments were printed. I tried to delete one of them and both were deleted! So–Thank you Janice for this capsule set for my two scarves! Lot of ideas for my planning!

I agree that the first Hermes scarf if truly beautiful, and so are the clothes you put with them. And darn those links… it does not make it any easier for those of us on a shopping fast, does it? :) (Will check those grey trousers though.)

Love the links! Makes window-wishing so much easier …. and a bit more productive! I'll click double on Brooks Brothers if you think it will help.

Like a dolt, I never realized you had links!! Those two striped t shirts are fabulous. I think they may need to come home to me!

I love what you do, Janice. You really are a magician. A magician with extraordinary taste and talent. ❤

While it may not be apparent in these small photos, it is actually the second Hermes scarf that is incredibly beautiful in person. I love them both, but it is clear which one is the star!

Though I love breton striped tops, when it comes to red and white or black and white i either think of "Where's Waldo" or prison. Ha! Navy and white stripes are great though. The outfits you put together are wonderful like usual!
