I know that wasn't an actual question, but the colors look more contemporary. The greys and beiges, boring. Proper but not interesting. Old, frankly. And I'm in my 40s.

ANOTHER LESSON I need to learn–definite decluttering on the way for December.

I just adore the way all your stuff is planned out and coordinated. I'm about half way there.

I think ONE of the brights would have been acceptable in combination with the other accessories more subdued. Or two brights, matching with the rest low-key. A pair of yellow gloves, the coat, a scarf with a bit of the same bright yellow in it and the hat matching the jacket. Or the red fedorah, red gloves and make the scarf match the coat. Too late for anyone to care, I know. But I would personally lean towards the choices in the bottom picture. But I think that ends up being a matter of personality.
