More excitement later today...

Yes, I fell on the treadmill this weekend.  It was a stunning moment of grace and composure.  My only consolation is that the gym was almost completely empty... and I was NOT badly hurt.

So I've overslept, and will be posting later.  I'm going to sell a few scarves (at least three, probably five), and I'll post the pictures, prices, etc. after I get home from work.

Have a lovely Monday - or what's left of Monday if you are east of me.

  1. Oh, Janice! Take care of yourself! And, think about a little massage therapy to help with any possible muscle injury in a couple of days. Cannot wait to see the scarves -- hoping that there might be something in my autumn (greens, browns, gold) hues. Take care. Susan (Mpls)

  2. I saw the mayor of our tiny town do a similar fall at the Y. He picked himself right up. Can't wait to see your scarves.

  5. Sorry to hear about your fall. Have done it several times, now, and have broken the same foot twice ... in almost the same place. so, I am saying "be careful!" it's that mid-life conundrum ... you need to exercise and you need to be careful. Does does that work? Glad you were not really hurt.

  6. I fell twice on the treadmill last year. I wound up getting lighter shoes with more flexible soles because I think I was dragging my feet. Bruised and embarrassed but not badly. Please take care and maybe you should wear the STOP cord...

  9. Oh a scarf sale now that is exciting!
I am sorry to hear of your mishap...I watched a friend do the same thing at the gym and she had nasty abrasions on her shins. I hope you are not too banged up.
    Take care,
    Hostess
